You can easily find the object by matching the color in the checkbox and the real object color.You can expand or collapse the nodes of the tree, set color for the object ,delete objects.
The Group List panel mainly contains object of Geometry , Connectivity , Mesh , Cut plane , Diagnostics;
The tree contains three main nodes called Geometry , Connectivity & Mesh.You can check and uncheck to chane the visibility of the object.
Changing the visibility of the objects (Geometry)
There are three methods for setting the visibility of objects in the window:

Exploring Connectivity
The connectivity node contains three main sub-nodes. Visibility of it is toggled by checking & unchecking the box in the tree.
Attached Nodes shows all the nodes which connects the Edges.
Double Edges shows all the edges which overlap eachh other twice.
Multiple Edges shows all the edges which overlap each other more than twice.
Mesh
This node contain name of all the objects which are meshed sucessfylly. The visibility of each meshed object is toggled by checking & unchecking the box in the tree.
Exploring Diagnostics
The diagnostics node contains two main sub-nodes viz. Single Edge , Feature Edge & Multiple Edge.
